I suggest.. now is the right time.. a little late but if you do it now your schnauzer will get used to the clippers or the stripping knife if you intend to do the latter on your Schnauzer's DOUBLE and WIRE coat...Head Chest and Ears should be clipped carefully so as not to nick the skin..
