Fussy Schhauzer - what should I try next?!

(Mr. Rob Hawkins)

My miniature female schnauzer age 2 years is very fussy about eating. I have tried all sorts of quality food, i.e. Nutro, Science Diet etc. The neutured male will not eat if she does not. We visited the vet who gave me venison (deer), which she would not eat.
2 days passed and I resorted to boiled chicken breasts, but was told by the vet to stop. I have even tried duck. I will be abroad for 2 weeks and I am afraid she just won't eat. All tests were negative i.e. pancreas. She is only 15 lbs. Please help!

Cindy,
Thanks for your kind comments. The vet has told me to stick this out and both will eventually eat. Today is 1.5 days since she has eaten her desired amount of food. The vet also said to get her off chicken asap and get back to dry food. This to say the least is very frustrating and worrisome.

Did you try baby food? Chicken with brown rice you make yourself...cottage cheese (low fat), some watermelon or melon. Raw veggies like carrots but puree them, plain greek yogurt. Don't give up. She may have stopped eating because she knows you are leaving.
