Does my Schnauzer have an eating disorder?

I just got a schnauzer and I love him, he's real calm, and really well behaved, I got him 3 days ago as a gift but he's 11 months.
He's already used to us, he plays, he's trained but he doesn't want to eat at all, I have to feed him from my hand.
I give him pedigree for puppies but he doesn't seem to like them, but he does like to eat our food. I dont want him to eat something that will make him bad...what should I do?

You may want to try Natural Balance dog foods. They have limited ingredients and my schnauzer devors it! He used to be a fussy eater too. It's a bit more expensive, but aren't our schnauzers worth it? :-)
