Black spot

Do you know why my mini schnauzer has a black spot on her rump? I have attached a photograph so you can see it.

My Schnauzer has flat black spots on his back and the number of spots have increased with his age. His vets don't seem to be concerned with them. But is is always best to check with your own vet.

Is it raised or flat? These dogs are known to have bumps along their backs that are kinda like pimples.
