Back leg - why does she do that?

Hi,
My 4 year old miniature schnauzer is healthy eats great food but once in awhile she won't step down on her back leg
She usually is that way for a day then she is back to normal
I have not taken her to our vet yet.
She won't jump up on the couch when she is that way
What do you think is going on?

But if you think I should bring her to our vet I will
She is not like this very much but just once in awhile

Hi there,

Some dogs have a problem with their knees. It may be one or both. The knee cap will slip out of joint.
Sometimes it will be just a little skip, and other times it will be longer before it snaps back into place.

I would suggest that you check with your vet to see if that is what it is. If it is severe, there is surgery that can be done to relieve the pain that it causes. But often, it will resolve itself.
