14 yr mini started doing backwards circles while jumping around X a month now?

She (LaCee) is completely blind, Always has been a calm girl but a month ago she started this strange circles and jumping at the same time/ She will end up with her butt in the water dish....or the kibble dish....and bounces off the walls. To stop the circles I pick her up and hold her close and tight....and I can feel her trembling! Usually only takes about 3 minutes and she will calm....but could start up again at any minute? .....I am guessing it is neurological....anyone else have this happen? (My last mini lived to the ripe age of 18....with a heart mummer her entire life !)
