12-y-o Mini Schnauzer has lost almost all his hair

About a year ago my schnauzer started losing all the hair on his body. His legs and head seem to be ok. At the same time his nipples enlarged.
My vet tested his blood for illness and all tests were normal. He seems energetic and healthy, so what could be wrong?

If you dog is loosing all the hair on his body, I would assume there is some physical problem. Have no idea what problem it could be.
But,it sounds from this post that your vet took one blood sample and when it came back negative, just showed you the door and said no worries.

Did he ever mention running other tests, changing diet, allergy reactions to changes in his diet or any other possibilities?

I would immediately see another vet.
