12 yr old female schnauzer not eating or pooping, just drinking like crazy

HELP!

with the question above. she is on iams mature dog food for last 3 months now i changed it from the regular green bag iams she has eaten her entire life and is not a table food eater. only protein once in a while, either way she is peeing because she cant hold it the past 2 weeks... kidney stones? tumors ? old age? she is not lethargic...

Bloated tummy

I'm no expert, but it could be that his intestine is twisted.. Take him to the vet.. NOW.. He may have colic, because if you have taken him a walk straight away after eating he would not have had time to digest his food.. I ALWAYS give my boys at least ONE HOUR before I take them a walk, and never had a problem.. My friend had a Schnauzer and she always took her dog out IMMEDIATELY after eating .. in the end he got a twisted stomach, developed colic and died..I told her time & time again, but she said he always wanted to go out straight away after eating, .. mine do , but I do not let them run around.. Hope he is better soon..

hello, I have the same problem except its a 10 yr old male is it a serious problem? A couple weeks ago he wasn't feeling well due to being bloated. Is it his stomach and can it be related to the stomach flipping?

Well.. this maybe because she is either diabetic,or in the stages of Kidney failure.. has she lost weight ?.. maybe she should be on a SENIOR diet.. not holding her urine is NOT a good sign.. is there blood in her urine.. my Schnauzer.. Rebel 1 given the chance would drink and drink..I had to regulate his water.. When I took him to the vet his protein level was up.. he was poorly for 4 days after finding blood in his urine , then said goodbye in my arms.. I'll post a photo of him on my site taken 10 days before he said Goodbye.. and he too looks fine.. ... Take her to see the Vet for tests..if she is not eating, she won't poo... this surely must tell you something..
