10 year old miniature schnauzer acting odd

I am wondering if this is normal sign of old age or needs to go see the vet. Almost every night between 2 and 4AM she gets up scratches/digs the floor, walls and couches. She has always digged into the couch/pillow, etc thru her life to find a spot and sleep. Now it's for 20+ minutes at all time and loud. Sometimes gets on my pillow and hits my face and just looks at me. Any advice is appreciated
