Schnauzer is very itchy

Our female schnauzer is recently scratching under her front legs and has tiny little red bumps.
She has scratched so much she has taken the hair off. We bath her with baby shampoo and I was wondering if she had developed an allergy to that or possibly to her food.
She is on a special DIET for kidney stones. Can someone help. Thanks.
