mine use to cry like that. then i figured out that he was scared of the dark because he doesn't like being alone.

Took him to the vet and yes he was talking to me as he had an infection.

On some pills now and he is much happier.

He is talking to you and wants you to talk back. I have always found my schnauzers to be very communicative and will not be ignored.
