Your Schnauzer's Panting...
by: Elizabeth

Hi,
Wanted to add my own personal experience. Our "Skippy" did this as well, which begin about 2-3 mo. before he passed. We were fairly sure that it may have been either his hear (stroke) or heartworms which can make dogs rather tired and seemingly out of breath. Although he was cared for regularly and was negative heartworm (and on preventitive heartworm meds), it is still possible for a dog to get heartworms (esp. if they already have heartworms as the meds will only make the situation worse). Hope I'm not too late responding here and all is well w/t her. If nothing else, get her to a Vet, any Vet, quickly. God Bless from Texas...

Schnauzer Sadie

I would find out if this is symptom of heart murmur or congestive heart failure. My little Shih tzu had these.

Schnauzer Sadie

If anybody would like to help Don and Mike with Sadie, please contact us at Max the Schnauzer and we will forward your messages on to them.

(We do it this way to avoid people being spammed by computers which trawl the internet looking for email addresses).

Good luck with Sadie, Don and Mike.

With best wishes,

Max and Linda
