My Mini Schnauzer will NOT potty outside of the house! HELP!

My husband and I bought our mini schnauzer last Saturday and he has not pottied outside yet! We are doing the crate training and have him on a schedule but has not once peed/pooed outside, only inside or in our garage! Do you have any advice to help us help him use it outside??
