We have a white 9 yr. Old and she has always been a digger. Not sure what is means. We will all be sitting watching a movie and she will just run under a chair or a piece of furniture and start digging to China. We just laugh with her, unless she is on the furniture and she'll sit with her back to us and start digging in a cushion, then we tell her "no digging" and she stops.

Hello,
"Skippy" (male) used to grab his dry food and go place it under our son's bed??? We never understood that concept other than perhaps he thought that he was "caring" for our son. It was rather annoying however. Schnauzers are nororious at digging, etc. and remember, were bred as micers. They are hunters by nature. I would'nt think anything serious is wrong here but you can always ask your Vet these questions...as mine once told me, "we've heard it all before". Take care.

Well, if she is not hurting anything ,but maybe she hears something you do not there like moles or mice?...Good luck.
